Lessons & Clubs
Our Lesson and Club programs provide riders of all skill levels with individualized instruction to meet each rider where they are and to ensure that every participant feels confident, inspired, and engaged.
What to Expect at Wrenacyn:
Hands-On Learning: Gain valuable skills in horse care, grooming, and stable management.
Riding Lessons: Enjoy expert instruction in our spacious 170x70 indoor arena or lighted 100x200 outdoor arena, suitable for year-round riding.
Personalized Instruction: Our experienced instructors adapt to each rider's needs, fostering growth and confidence.
Equine Education: Explore the world of horses through interactive lessons and fun activities designed to nurture a lifelong love for riding.
We’re proud to create a nurturing, supportive environment where riders of all levels can thrive. Beyond equestrian skills, our sessions promote communication, respect, and compassion for all and help with building life skills that extend far beyond the arena. With that said, you can expect that some lessons will focus on ground work and not all lesson time will always be spent in the saddle.
Helmets that meet the ASTM/SEI certification standards are provided and sanitized after each use. If you or your child has their own helmet that meets the ASTM/SEI certification standards, we encourage you to bring it. Participants must wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Shoes with a slight heel are preferred but not required. If you plan on riding regularly, investing in a ASTM/SEI certified helmet and basic riding boot is highly recommended. We are happy to share information regarding cost effective options.

"Both my children take beginner lessons here and I cannot recommend Liz enough. She's a fantastic equestrian who teaches the important of a good seat and strong balance while also keeping lessons fun, both on and off the horse. My kids are learning to care for the horses and to be respectful of their space, and I've seen it transfer to how they approach our animals and each other at home. I have ridden for over 20 years and took a break due to pregnancy, but when I start back this will be the place for me. If you want to learn to ride or teach your children to ride, this is a great and safe facility to do so."

"Love this barn! Have ridden with Liz for about a year - the barn truly feels like a family. Sweet and dependable ponies, friendly people, beautiful new barn space. Learn and do as much or as little as you want - from pony care basics to casual trail rides to dressage. Great for kids and one of the few barns I’ve found in the area friendly for adult beginners!"
